Please respect the ashtray. Don’t stub out a cigar when you are finished. This is one of the first rules introduced to the cigar smoking public and it still holds true today. When you have finished enjoying your perfectly cut and well rested cigar please do not put it out like a cigarette. When you are done just lay it down in the ashtray and allow it to gracefully go out. Smashing the nub is just unrefined and can release unpleasant odors. Also, make sure it is fully extinguished before you depart.
